IS A VIRTUAL CONSULT APPROPRIATE FOR MY CONDITION?

Virtual physiotherapy has been shown to be just as effective as face to face appointments, with many components of the consultation being no different. This is because the majority of the time, a diagnosis has already  been formed from good subjective questioning. COVID-19 has catapulted this into the spotlight with many realising the full benefits of this type of service across a number of industries. If you are unsure, feel free to shoot me an email.

HOW WILL YOU ASSESS AND TREAT ME WITHOUT PHYSICALLY TOUCHING ME?

The majority of information comes from subjective history and specific movements can be looked at effectively from a video consultation. Treatments such as massage and ultrasound have very limited evidence and when they are effective, it is only for the short term.

WHAT WILL I EXPECT FROM THE INITIAL APPOINTMENT?

I will conduct a thorough initial assessment, which includes a detailed history and looking at any relevant movements. From this, your condition will be explained including time frames of rehabilitation with respect to your goals.

WHY ARE THE APPOINTMENTS SO AFFORDABLE?

Having 7 years of experience, I am a senior physiotherapist with exceptional and up to date knowledge across a wide number of injuries. Undertaking this new endeavor via virtual platforms means I can keep overhead costs low, thereby bringing affordable physiotherapy to a greater number of people.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR A VIRTUAL CONSULTATION?

A good internet connection for Zoom, a quiet space where you won't be disturbed and loose clothing for ease of movement. If a Zoom appointment is not possible, a telephone consult can be arranged.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

No, you do not require a GP referral to utilise our services. However, if you do have any relevant medical records, please keep them easily accessible for your consult.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

I am a recognised provider for Aetna Global Benefits, Aviva, Axa PPP Healthcare and Vitality Health.

HOW WILL I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Select 'book online' to choose your appointment slot and from there, you can pay via debit/credit card or PayPal.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please give 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment and I will be happy to adjust it for you. Less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
